St. Joseph's College Shuttlers excel at CISCE Badminton Nationals
St. Joseph's College Shuttlers excel at CISCE Badminton Nationals
Six students of St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj, represented Uttar Pradesh at the CISCE Badminton National Championship held at Disha – A Life School, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu.
Grant Jaiswal and Satvik Mehrotra competed in the U-14 category, Abhinav Somvanshi, Malik Shahzaib Sultan and Shashwat Agrawal in the U-17 category, and Devansh Deo Singh in the U-19 category.
The college celebrated a notable achievement when Malik Shahzaib Sultan (Class XII-C) and Shashwat Agrawal (Class X-G) secured the runner-up position in the U-17 Boys’ Doubles category. The pair has also been placed on standby for the 70th National School Games (SGFI).
The team was coached by Danny Ekka and Mohd. Khalid, whose guidance and support helped prepare the players for the national-level competition.
The Principal, staff and the entire college community congratulated the players and coaches and wished them continued success.
