BRONZE ON THE FIELD, GOLD IN THE POOL!
ST JOSEPH’S STUDENTS SHINE IN FOOTBALL AND SWIMMING
Prayagraj: St Joseph’s College, Prayagraj, celebrates the outstanding sporting achievements of its students, who have made their mark at the national and district levels and earned selection for the state championship.
The CISCE National Football Tournament 2026–27 was held at Sant Baba Hari Model School, Mahilpur, Punjab, from 30 September to 2 October 2026. Two students of St Joseph’s College, Amber Vishal of Class X-C (Under-17) and Tanishq Goswami of Class XII-D (Under-19), participated in the National Tournament.
In the Under-17 category, Amber Vishal represented the Uttar Pradesh Football Team, which secured the Bronze Medal at the National Tournament. His performance and dedication on the field have brought pride to the College.
Adding to the College’s sporting accomplishments, Krishna Mehrotra of Class XII-F participated in the Open District Swimming Competition, where he secured First Place in the 50-metre Freestyle. Following this impressive performance, he has been selected for the Open State Swimming Championship.
The College proudly congratulates Amber, Tanishq and Krishna on their remarkable achievements. Their success brings great pride to the Josephite community and stands as an inspiration to aspiring young sportspersons. With determination, discipline and the will to excel, our young achievers continue to carry the Josephite spirit to greater heights.
