The ASISC Literary Events commenced with the Creative Writing Competition hosted at St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj. Eight schools participated enthusiastically across three categories — Sub-Junior (Classes VI–VIII), Junior (Classes IX–X), and Senior (Classes XI–XII).
The budding writers, brimming with imagination and originality, were given topics on the spot and produced thought-provoking pieces that left a deep impression on the judges. The event was adjudicated by Dr. Kirtika Singh, Assistant Professor of English at Allahabad Degree College and Head of the Department of English, and Dr. Mrityunjay Rao, Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Modern European Languages at the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.
Dr. Kirtika Singh addressed the participants and shared valuable insights on the art of creative expression, encouraging the young writers to observe life deeply, think independently, and allow their words to reflect authenticity and imagination.
The participants displayed remarkable creativity, sensitivity, and command over language, transforming simple prompts into powerful expressions of thought and emotion.
The Principal, Rev. Father Walter D’ Silva, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence and encouraged the participants.
The event celebrated not merely the art of writing, but the courage to think, imagine, and give voice to ideas with conviction and flair.
