NCC Cadets Join Hands for a Greener Tomorrow – “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”
The NCC Unit organised a tree plantation drive on 27 August as part of the inspiring initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage the cadets to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.
The drive was conducted under the able guidance and supervision of our ANO, Azhar Usmani, along with other officers and staff of the NCC Unit. All NCC cadets participated enthusiastically in the drive and planted saplings at the designated site.
The initiative carried a heartfelt message of love and gratitude towards mothers and Mother Nature. The activity also fostered values of teamwork, discipline, responsibility and social service, reflecting the true spirit of NCC and its motto, “Unity and Discipline.”
The event concluded with the cadets pledging to care for the saplings and contribute towards environmental conservation. It was a meaningful initiative that inspired the cadets to take a small but significant step towards a greener future.
