GROWING KINDNESS: ST. PATRICK’S HOUSE ASSEMBLY
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

Kindness begins with a simple choice: to treat others with the same respect, understanding and consideration that we hope to receive. Bringing this principle to life, St. Patrick’s House (Green House) conducted its morning assembly on 7 September 2026, centred on the theme “Treat Others as You Wish to Be Treated.”
The proceedings commenced with Ritvik Wason, who welcomed the gathering and guided the assembly. Tanishq Goswami, House Captain, led the invocation, followed by the pledge administered by Shaury Tripathi.
Anshuman Gupta introduced the central theme, highlighting the role of empathy and respect in shaping individual character and a harmonious community. The message was further explored through addresses by Prajit Srivastava and Anvesh Srivastava, who emphasised that kindness and respect acquire meaning when translated into action. They encouraged students to be mindful of how their words, choices and behaviour affect those around them.
A distinctive feature of the assembly was the presentation of plants as living mementoes. Ritvik Wason introduced the presentation, which was carried out by Shivesh Dawar, C-Squad Leader, and Om Tripathi, Head Prefect of St. Patrick’s House, to Rev. Fr. Walter D’Silva, the Principal, the teachers, members of the support staff and representatives of the various classes.
The choice of plants beautifully reinforced the theme. Just as a plant requires patience, care and nourishment to flourish, relationships thrive through kindness, understanding and mutual respect. Each plant served as a lasting reminder of the responsibility to nurture the people and communities around us.
The assembly concluded with remarks by Saksham Rai, followed by the Thought for the Day by Dhruv Mahajan.
Through thoughtful presentations and meaningful symbolism, St. Patrick’s House conveyed an enduring message: a strong community grows when its members choose to treat one another with kindness, dignity and empathy.
