CYBER SAFETY AWARENESS: EMPOWERING STUDENTS FOR A SAFER DIGITAL WORLD
An orientation programme on cyber safety was organised by HDFC Bank at St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj, to sensitise students to the growing challenges of the digital world and the importance of online security.
The session was conducted by Mr Pawan Kumar Singh, Senior Manager, Credit Intelligence & Control (Investigations), HDFC Bank. With over 16 years of experience in banking fraud investigations, risk mitigation and cyber safety awareness, he provided valuable insights into various forms of cybercrime and explained the essential security measures needed to safeguard oneself against digital threats.
As October is observed as Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the programme served as a timely reminder of the need to remain alert, informed and responsible in the digital world. The session encouraged students to adopt safe online practices, recognise potential cyber threats and exercise caution while navigating the digital landscape.
