Awarding commitment: Ujala Media Network in collaboration with Unacademy Prayagraj hosts Quiz Show 2024

Competitions are an integral part of an institution which aim to develop important cognitive skills in an individual. Through various events and competitions, like debates, creative writing competitions, and quizzes the raw and hidden talent of the students can be brought out.
Keeping this in mind, the Ujala Media Network in collaboration with Unacademy Prayagraj, organised a Quiz Show at St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj on the 6th of September, 2024 under the banner of the Association of Mass Communication. The event took place at the grand Auditorium of St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj, where participants from all over classes 6 to 12 participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was also streamed live on YouTube.
The Quiz Competition commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp by Mr. Alok Malviya, Mr. Piyush Pandey and Mr. Amit Tripathi along with Dr. Vishnu Deb and Mrs. Meena Vincent. A warm welcome was next accorded by Mr. Piyush Pandey, Editor of Ujala Live to select dedicated faculty of the college, namely, Dr. Vishnu Deb, Mrs. Sumona Banerjee, Mrs. Meena Vincent, Mrs. Ruchi Dube, Miss Fenella D’Souza and Mrs.Tereesa Patrick besides introducing the members of the Ujala Media network and Unacademy institute which consisted of Mr. Amit Tripathi, Mr. Alok Malviya, Mr. Raghav Malik and Mr. Rajeev Kesarwani.
The event proceeded further with Ujala Live and Unacademy Institute acknowledging the efforts of the teachers, teaching in one of the most prestigious and oldest institutions of the State, St. Joseph's College Prayagraj. The teachers namely Dr. Vishnu Deb, Mrs. Sumona Banerjee, Mrs. Meena Vincent, Mrs. Ruchhi Dube, Miss Fenella D’Souza and Mrs. Tereesa Patrick were then presented with a bouquet, a memento, and a stole, as a mark of appreciation for their invaluable services in moulding the minds and shaping the future of the students for decades.
Moving onto the next segment of the programme, the Anchor of the event,Mr. Shubham Gupta from the Unacademy institute started by giving a brief description about the rules of the quiz. The session consisted of around 50 general questions to the audience, marking it an engaging and interactive session for the students.
The quiz competition concluded with the prize distribution to the winners by Mr. Alok Malviya, Mr. Amit Tripathi, Dr. Vishnu Deb and Mr. G. D. Pandey giving out the certificates and the prizes to the winners and motivating them to keep aiming high in their lives.
The event wrapped up with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Amit Tripathi.
