Summer camp. The term itself evokes joyful vibes, varied learning, fun galore and countless memories. Who wouldn't want to enjoy as he learns?
4th June, 2025 marked the successful culmination of a comprehensive range of activities in St.Joseph's College, Prayagraj, afforded through varied camps covering different disciplines such as music, theatre and dance. Taught by Mr.Raju Solomon, Ms.Karen Das, Mr.Ankit Tandon, all committed teachers well-versed in their art, and the famous choreographer and former Josephite, Atamjeet Singh, students from classes 1 to 12, impressed one and all in the College Auditorium, with a plethora of dances, play titled Kabri ki Billi, guitar and keyboard recitals.
The Chief Guests for the function were Rev.Fr.Lawrence Fernandes, the Diocesan Educational Officer and the Manager of St.Joseph's College, and Mr.Jyoti Dube, the Senior Staff Coordinator. Needless to say, both the Principal, Rev.Fr.Walter D'Silva, and all the assembled parents of the participants, beamed with joy and pride as one after the other, talented students displayed their multifarious talents.
Ably compered by the duo of Mrs.Madhulika D'Souza and Mr.Tyrone Alberts, the programme drew to a close with speeches by both the Chief Guests and the Principal, applauding the diligent efforts of both the teachers and the students involved, Vote of thanks by Mr.Tyrone Alberts and the National Anthem.
