Healthy Food Activity in KG Section
Report on Healthy Food Activity – Sprout Salad Preparation
As part of our ongoing efforts to encourage healthy eating habits among children, our Kindergarten students participated in a Healthy Food Activity on 26th September 2025. The activity was centered around preparing a nutritious and delicious Sprout Salad.
The children brought moong and channa sprouts along with a variety of freshly chopped vegetables in separate bowls. To enhance the flavor, they also carried chaat masala and lemon juice. With great excitement, the little ones mixed the sprouts and vegetables together, added a pinch of chaat masala, squeezed some lemon juice, and prepared their very own healthy sprout salad.
It was a delightful experience to watch the children actively involved in mixing, serving, and tasting their creations. They thoroughly enjoyed the process of making food by themselves and happily relished the salad as their lunch.
The activity not only made them aware of the importance of eating healthy food but also helped develop their sense of independence, teamwork, and joy of eating nutritious meals.
Overall, the Sprout Salad Activity was a great success, leaving the children with happy smiles and healthy tummies!
