Focus and live SJC holds seminar on Digital Detox

Mr. Tarun Rupani is a name synonymous with the power of social media in influencing the youth to harness time productively instead of wasting time. Ever ready to channelise the energy, time and focus of its students, St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj organised a Seminar titled "The Art of how to Focus and Digital Detox" on 8th November 2025. The Auditorium of St.Joseph's College saw the notable trailblazer Mr. Tarun Rupani as the Chief Guest as well as the Guest Speaker, dwell on the importance of Digital Detox in a world where information overload is unfortunately the norm. Dr. Sheetal Sebastian introduced Mr. Tarun Rupani as the current District Training Coordinator and the Principal of Dr. Amrit Lal Ishrat Memorial Sunbeam School, Chaubeypur, Varanasi. Mr. Rupani dons many other hats such as being the Secretary of the Kashi Sahodaya School Complex. His vast repertoire also includes authorship of one of the largest selling reference books for ICSE, an astute CBSE Observer for more than 9 years, Mr. Rupani is an able mentor to multiple students through his highly popular Youtube channel. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Walter D'Silva, the Staff Coordinator, Mr. Jyoti Dube and all the assembled teachers were all smiles as Mr. Rupani engaged students in his fun, practical and thought-provoking ways. The enthusiastic response of the students displayed Mr. Rupani's prodigious ability to connect and communicate abstruse scientific concepts in a lucid manner. The Mistress of Ceremony was Dr. Linda Gaffney, while Mrs. Lim Terry offered a special prayer.
