Birthday Celebration of Rev Fr Gladwin Fernandes

A life devoted to the amelioration of humanity needs to be celebrated and as such the entire staff of St. Joseph's College, Prayagraj congregated on 16th January, 2026 to honour and wish Rev. Fr. Gladwin Fernandes on his birth anniversary.
The short programme commenced with the Mistress of Ceremony, Mrs. Sonia Morant, welcoming the Principal, Rev. Fr. Walter D'Silva, the Headmaster Rev. Fr. Melwin Pais, the Middle School Administrator, Rev. Fr. Gladwin Fernandes, the Additional Administrator Mr. Aubrey
McGowan and the Staff Coordinator Mr. Jyoti Dube to the Hogan Hall. A reverential ambience was engendered by the Bible reading and a special prayer by Ms. Cynthia Paul, furthered by prayerful renditions by the Senior Section Choir, the KG Choir and the Primary Section Choir.
Exalting the sterling qualities of head and heart of Rev. Fr. Gladwin Fernandes, Rev. Fr. Walter D'Silva invoked God's choicest blessings on the compassionate and dedicated Administrator. The presentation of saplings by the Management, representatives of the Office and Teaching Staff, the KG Coordinator Ms. Saumya Prakash and the School Counsellor Dr. Aparna Ranjan, served to accentuate the atmosphere of joyful gratitude.
A pithy speech by Ms. Meenakshi Singh conveyed the sentiments of all regarding the blessed aura exuded by Rev. Fr. Gladwin Fernandes. Post the cake cutting, the event drew to its fitting conclusion with a speech laced with humility and humour by Rev. Fr. Gladwin Fernandes, thanking everyone for their support and the Grace before the festive lunch, expressed by Rev.Fr. Melwin Pais
