General Information

St. Joseph’s College, founded in 1884, is a recognized English medium college for boys. It is owned & managed by the Catholic Diocese of Prayagraj. It is a private minority, and unaided (Anglo Indian) School.
It exists primarily to educate Catholic Boys, but it is open to other boys without distinction of caste or creed.
The motto of the College is “Semper Sursum”, which means ‘Always Aim High’. It is the aim of the institution to impart to its pupils a sound, moral, intellectual & physical education according to Christian principles. Hence every effort is made to bring out those qualities which are the best & noblest in the children so as to make them good citizen of our beloved country.
Co-curricular activities of various nature are provided in order to promote harmonious development of both soul & body.
