“Dance is the joy of movement and the heart of life.”
Music and dance creates a powerful unified harmony which makes one groove and move in tandem to both.
The Inter-House Dance Competition was held on 5th August in the primary side. The excitement was intense indeed with the houses that had been practicing for so long to give a performance that was commendable. The theme given for the dance competition was ‘Child Trafficking’ and each performance of all the four houses was impactful and strong getting the message across in a touching, poignant way.
The judges for the event were Mr. AbhishekChaudhary , a Prabhakar to his credit in Kathak from the PrayagSangeetSamiti.
Ms. KirtiChaudhary, a teacher from Sanskar International School, SulemSarai, who has done her masters in music and Mrs. Jyoti George, an M.A. in dance and Praveen in Music, and currently serving at St. Anthony’s College as a Lecturer in Vocal Music.
The dance rendition was neck to neck, making it difficult for the judges to assess the winning performance.
The end results of the competition were as follow:
1st- Blue House
2nd- Green House
3rd- Red House
Runner-up - Gold House
